Rates continue to stay low, May another decent real estate sales month in Central Florida.
Central Florida home sales have again sustained another month of more than 1700 closings for the month (in fact this month over 1850). Realtors were apart of 1853 for sale transactions in Orange & Seminole Counties last month. May of 2008, this number was only 1347. The amount of days on the market in May of 2008 was 115 days, this past May, only 104 days. The inventory of a year ago was 25,015, now just under 19,123. This continues to be a great time for buyers of Central Florida real estate and buying a home for sale, we may never see rates this low again and still plenty of inventory to choose from. For those renting now would be a great time to buy a home.
