  2009 Florida Property Managers Convention 

  
  Today is the first day of the FARPM (Florida Association of Residential Property Managers) yearly convention.  Last year’s convention in Panama City was very informative, educating, and quite interesting; so I am looking forward to this year’s convention with an open mind to learning new information and meeting fellow property managers.   This year’s property management convention is a two day event and is being held right here in Orlando.  I am positive alot of great ideas will be taken from this year’s convention and will be implemented by our team very soon.  Bring on more great ideas from other top property managers in the state!

  Rates continue to stay low, April another decent real estate sales month in Central Florida. 

  Central Florida home sales have again sustained a second month in a row of sales above 1700 for a month (final number realeased for March were over 1750).  Realtors were apart of 1741 transactions in Orange & Seminole Counties last month.  April of 2008, this number was only 1231.  The amount of days on the market in April of 2008 was 120 days, this past April, only 104 days.  The inventory of a year ago was 25,436, now just under 20,194.  Great time for buyers of Central Florida real estate and buying a home for sale, we may never see rates this low again and still plenty of inventory to choose from.  For those renting now would be a great time to buy a home.
